High-level interactive dialogue on sand and dust storms

The President of the General Assembly will convene a high-level interactive dialogue on sand and dust storms, in accordance with General Assembly resolution 72/225. Additional information is available on the website of the Office of the President of the General Assembly. There will be no list of speakers prepared in advance, and Member States are encouraged to engage in an interactive dialogue with the panellists. In order to provide for maximum participation, interventions will be limited to three minutes (five minutes for groups). Representatives from civil society will be given the floor, time permitting. A High-level forum on the Culture of Peace will be held pursuant to General Assembly resolution A/RES/72/137 of 11 December 2017.
