고아들은 총 여섯명이다. Tootles는 친절하고 용감하지만 항상 운이 없다. Nibs는 명랑한 소년이다.Slightly는 고아들중 가장 거만하다.

Next came Curly, a regular mischievous child, and the Twins, who had no names, because they got lost before their mother had made up her mind what to call them
