  Hello. I'm Emily Elizabeth. This is my dog, Clifford.

안녕, 나는 Emily Elizabeth야 이쪽은 내 개,clifford지.

A boy named Tim lives across the street.

팀이란 소년이 길 건너편에 살고 있어.

  One  day Tim said, "I try to do a good deed every day.

어느날 팀이 말했어,"난 매일 좋은 일을 하려고 노력해."

If I had Clifford I could help a lot of people."I said, "Let's do some good deeds together."

만약 내게 클리포트가 있다면, 난 많은 사람들을 도울수 있을 거야. 난 말했지, "그럼 같이 좋은 일 좀 하자" 

  A man was raking leaves.

한 남자가 잎들을 긁어모으고 있었어.

 Tim gave him a hand.

팀은 그를 도와주었지.

 Then we helped him put the leaves in his trunk.

그리고 우리는 그가 그의 트렁그에 잎들을 넣는 걸 도와줬어.

 I didn't know that drey leaves make Clifford sneeze.

난 그 마른잎들이 클리포드가 재채기하게 하는 줄 몰랐어.(dry를 잘못쓰신게 아닌지??) 

The man said he didn't need any more help.

그 남자는 더이상 도움이 필요하지 않다고했지.

 We went down the street.

우리는 길 아래로 내려왔어. 

  We saw a lady painting her fence.

우리는 울타리를 칠하는 한 여자를 보았지.

 We helped her paint.

우리는 그녀가 페인트칠하는 걸 도와줬어.

 When we finished she thanked us.

다 끝냈을 때, 그녀는 우리에게 고맙다고 했어.

Clifford so happy that he wagged his tail.

클리포드는 너무 좋아서 꼬리를 흔들었지.

 That was a mistake.

그게 실수였어.

White paint splattered all over her house.

하얀 페인트가 그녀의 온 집안에 튀었어.

We said we would paint the rest of her house too.

우리는 그녀의 집 나머지도 전부 칠해주겠다고 했지.

 The lady said "Never mind." 그여자가 말했어"괜찮아(됐어요)"

  Then we saw an old lady trying to get her kitten down from a tree.

그리고 우리는 한 할머니가 나무 아래로 새끼 고양이를 내려오게 하려는 것을 봤지.

Tim said, "Clifford, get the kitty.

팀이 말했어 "클리포트, 고양이를 데려와"

Clifford bent the limb down so the lady could reach her kitten.

클리포드는 가지를 구부려, 그녀가 고양이에 닿도록 해줬어.

But his paw slipped.

하지만 그의 발톱이 미끄러졌지.

 Clifford moves pretty fast for a big dog.

클리포드는 매우 빨리 움직였어.??

 The lady was glad to get her kitten back.

그 여자는 고양이를 다시 찾아서 기뻐했지. 

  It didn't take us long to find our next good deed to do.

우리의 다음 선행을 찾기 까지는 오래 걸리지 않았어.

 Somebody had let the air out of the tires of a car.

누군가가 차 타이어의 공기가 빠졌어.

 The man asked if we could help him.

그 남자가 도와줄수 있냐고 물었어.

Tim took a rubber tube out of the car and stuck it on the tire valve.

팀은 차밖으로 고무튜브를 꺼내서 타이어 밸브에 그것을 끼어두었어.

 Then he told Clifford to blow air through the tube.

그리고 그는 클리포드에게 그 튜브로 공기를 불라고 했지.

 Clifford blew.

클리포드는 불었어.

But he blew a little too hard.

하지만 좀, 너무 세게 불었어.

 The man felt better when we took his car to a garage.

그 남자는 우리가 그의 차를 차고에 갖다주자 기분이 더 좋아졌어.

  We saw a small paperboy.

우리는 신문배달부를 봤어.

He was so small that he couldn't throw the newspapers to the doorsteps.

그는 너무 작아서 현관으로 신문을 던질 수 없었지

 Clifford gave him a hand.

클리포드가 그를 도와줬어.

 I mean a paw.

발톱으로 말이야,

 Clifford was a little too strong.

클리포드는 좀, 너무 셌어,

Nothing seemed togo right for us.

아무것도 우리에게 잘 된 게 없는 것 같았어. 

All our good deeds were turning out wrong.

우리의 모든 선행은 잘못되었어.
